CynthiaCrenshaw
Wife. Mother. Minister. National Board Certified educator. The creative voice and heart behind every LifeTees design.
Cynthia Crenshaw is a wife, mother, minister, and teacher consultant who became National Board Certified in Literacy in 2007. She served as a Candidate Support Provider, assisting other teachers in becoming National Board Certified, and as an Instructional Coach of teachers in grades K–5. That role led her to writing curriculum and joining a grant writing team. Cynthia has presented at local, state, and national conferences — including the National Council of Teachers of English, the National Writing Project, and the National Board Certified Teachers Conference.
As a fellow with the Red Mountain Writing Project, she served as Co-Director of Professional Development, working alongside others to secure contracts at various schools — providing literacy professional development throughout the school year and hosting summer writing camps.
Early in life, before Cynthia realized it, God was giving her acronyms.
Once she recognized what was happening, they began to increase — faith-based, holidays, educational. Every LifeTees design starts there.
As a minister, Cynthia has written children's church and Sunday School curriculum and has been invited to minister at Women's Conferences. She counts it a pleasure to listen and minister to individuals, and enjoys searching the scriptures and allowing the eyes of her understanding to be enlightened.
Off the clock, Cynthia stays current in children's literature, travels with the friends of Y2K, and — of course — keeps creating new acronyms and designs. She also loves shopping for unusual bargains.
